I may not be the most experienced college journalist in multimedia, but I am willing to learn and do so fast.
I have worked with Audacity, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop. I have shot and edited video and feel comfortable doing so. I have worked alongside videographers for multimedia stories and really enjoyed the process. As a naturally curious person, I also feel comfortable taking a handheld camcorder and shooting film to use for video and print stories.
I will be the Assistant Managing Editor next semester (Spring 2009) of the Oklahoma Daily. My primary responsibilities will be editing the news stories for the next day’s paper every evening and helping the Managing Editor assign stories. I will also help reporters writer clearer, concise stories, find a focus for their story and make sure all questions are answered.
My resume is below, please e-mail me for references, my telephone number and address; I do not feel comfortable sharing this information on the Internet.
